Description

Mitochondrial respiration medium, MiR06, developed for respirometry with mitochondrial preparations - permeabilized muscle fibers. For preparation of MiR06, see MiPNet22.10 MiR05-Kit. Catalase is protective, allows for reoxygenations with H₂O₂ injections, but prevents simultaneous measurement of H₂O₂ production. The oxygen solubility factor of MiR06 is the same as for MiR05 = 0.92.

MiR06 = MiR05 + catalase.
