I am trying to measure routine, leak and ETS respiration in zooplanktonic organisms (tiny animals of about 1 mm) using high resolution respirometry (HRR). I ask if somebody in the forum have tried to use these animals (or similar) for HRR and how to proceed (homogenate or permeabilization) for best results. Any information will be welcome at this point as this will avoid unnecessary work.
