Description
Beryllium sulfate is used in combination with sodium fluoride to form beryllium trifluoride (BeF3−), to inhibit the ATP synthase if it is exposed by disruption of the mitochondrial membranes.
Abbreviation: BeS
Application in HRR
- BeS: (Beryllium sulfate; BeSO4), store at 4 °C, M = 177.14 g·mol-1
- Preparation of 200 mM stock solution (dissolved in H2O)
- Weigh 354.3 mg.
- Dissolve in 10 mL distilled H2O under a fume hood.
- Divide in aliquots.
- Store at +4 °C;
- Preparation of 200 mM stock solution (dissolved in H2O)
