LEAK state without adenylates

Description

L.jpg In the LEAK state without adenylates, LN (N for no adenylates), mitochondrial respiration is measured after addition of substrates, which decreases slowly to the LEAK state after oxidation of endogenous substrates with no adenylates.

Abbreviation: LN

Reference: Gnaiger 2012 MitoPathways

MitoPedia methods: Respirometry

MitoPedia topics: "Respiratory state" is not in the list (Enzyme, Medium, Inhibitor, Substrate and metabolite, Uncoupler, Sample preparation, Permeabilization agent, EAGLE, MitoGlobal Organizations, MitoGlobal Centres, ...) of allowed values for the "MitoPedia topic" property.
