MitoKit-CII/Malonate-nv

Description

NV161/MitoKit-CII (diacetoxymethyl malonate) is a plasma membrane-permeable (p) prodrug that diffuses across the plasma membrane. Cleavage of diacetoxymethyl residues is mediated by intracellular esterases, thus releasing malonate in the intracellular space.

Abbreviation: Mnanv

Application in HRR

Mnanv: NV161 10 mg, 7.7 ยตL, 5.24 M, MW=248.1 g.mol-1
Preparation of 100 mM stock solution:
  1. Add 395.78 ยตL DMSO in 7.7 ยตL NV161.
  2. Divide into 40 ยตL portions.
  3. Store at -20 ยฐC.
Preparation of 10 mM stock solution (from the 100 mM stock):
  1. Dilute 40 ยตL 100 mM stock solution with 360 ยตL DMSO.
  2. Divide into 100 ยตL portions.
  3. Store at -20 ยฐC.
ยป O2k manual titrations
  • Titration volume: 1 ยตL steps using a 10 ยตL syringe (2 mL O2k-Chamber).
  • Final concentration: 5 ยตM steps
  • Please consider that the final concentration needed in the O2k-Chamber may vary according to your cell type.
